Mrs. Torkelson is a Wisconsin girl through and through.  She never misses watching a Green Bay Packer game and her students like to call her a Cheesehead!  She enjoys skiing, biking, hiking, camping, and scrapbooking, and is trying to learn to play tennis, too.  She moved to Georgia with her husband, Chris, (also from WI) and they love it here.  This will be her sixteenth year teaching 6^th grade, and is excited to be teaching Science and Reading at Hopewell.  Mrs. Torkelson and her husband keep busy and have a lot of fun with their three-year old son, Connor, and baby girl, Kelsi.
