You will need the following supplies for this class:

· Pencil(s)

· Red checking pen

· Notebook paper

· Binder (1 1/2” is best)

· 5 dividers

· Graph paper (optional)

· Compass (optional)

 

Seventh Grade Semester Discipline

We will be using the following discipline plan throughout the school year in seventh grade. All students will be verbally warned and asked to correct behaviors first before assigning a slip.

 

Offenses are based on the three D’s: Defiance, Disrespect, or Denying other the opportunity to learn

 

1st offense:   pink slip and notify parent.

2nd offense:  assigned detention; notify parent, parent signature on detention slip 

3rd offense:  assigned 2nd detention; notify parent, parent signature on detention slip,

                      AND parent conference

4th offense:  automatic office referral to Assistant Principal, Mr. Robinson.

          

           If a student fails to serve their assigned detention during the allotted week without communicating to assigning teacher a valid reason; it will be referred to Mr. Robinson. All detentions are to be served from 7:45 a.m. to 8:25 a.m. on Tuesday & Thursday mornings in the designated classrooms as posted on detention posters in hallways.  ONLY signed detention slip admits a student. Late students will not be admitted; instead they will need to serve the detention the next scheduled detention day.
