I grew up in Michigan where I attended Central Michigan University receiving an undergraduate degree with a major in Home Economics. I then went on to get my Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Wayne State University.

I am married and have two children, Grant and Brooke; both attended Georgia Tech. This is my 16th year of teaching; the last 12 years have been in middle school which is my favorite group to teach.

I am very excited to be teaching Family and Consumer Sciences at Hopewell Middle School.
