Sixth Grade Suggested Supply List 08-09

 

· Three ring zippered binder – No accordion files on inside

· 8 non-pocket subject dividers

· Large Pencil pouch for binder

· Four packs of white loose leaf notebook paper.  Place ½ pack in the           binder and keep the remainder at home

· Non-spiral graph paper notebook.  (hole punched)

· 24 count pack of colored pencils

· 10 count pack of markers

· 24+ pencils

· 1 large eraser

· 12 red pens

· Small handheld pencil sharpener

· Rubber ruler with centimeters and inches (put in binder)

· Reinforcement labels- recommended

· Set of Expo dry erase markers

· 3 Glue sticks

· Highlighter

· Scissors

· 2 cylinders of Clorox disinfecting wipes

· 2- large boxes of tissues

· 1  roll of paper towels

· 4 Extra Large book cover

· 1 bottle of liquid hand sanitizer

· 1 package  of construction paper (any size, any color)

 

Locker Note:

Lockers are small.   Roller backpacks will not fit into the lockers and shelves take up a considerable amount of space.  Students may only put items in their lockers that do not require the use of tape or other sticky mounting material.  Dry erase markers are not permitted in lockers.

 

1. Place the following in your pencil pouch: colored pencils, eraser, 1 glue stick, 4 pencils, 4 pens, highlighter

2. Place the following in large Ziploc Bag (to be kept in locker): markers, 2 glue sticks, scissors, reinforcements, extra pens and pencils

3. To be given to teacher on the first day:  Clorox wipes, tissues, paper towels, hand sanitizer, dry erase markers and construction paper
