Subject: Non-Sufficiently Funded Checks

 

 

Due to the volume of uncollectible checks that the district receives, the Fulton County School System has contracted with the Federal Automated Recovery Systems (FARS) for the electronic collection of checks returned for insufficient funds (NSF). The district will gladly accept your checks; however, in the event your check is returned, your account will be debited electronically for the face amount and fees allowed by the state of Georgia.

 

All checks that are currently past due will also be recovered through this process if not paid in full by the start date of the program on September 19, 2006.

 

Please include the following on your check:

 

· Full Name

· Street Address

· Phone Numbers

 

If there are any questions, please contact the bookkeeper at your child’s school.
