Hopewell Middle School opened in August of 2004 with a student population of approximately 870 students. The elementary feeder schools are Manning Oaks, Cogburn Woods and Summit Hill. For high school, two-thirds of Hopewell’s students attend Milton while one-third attends Alpharetta.
As a state-of-the-art middle school, Hopewell provides a myriad of enrichment programs including sports, music, clubs and outreach opportunities. With a strong academic focus, the school implements a rigorous curriculum while providing a bridge between elementary and high school. Hopewell has two assistant principals and two counselors. Principal Frances Boyd has more than 20 years of experience in Fulton County as a classroom teacher, assistant principal and a prior principalship at Taylor Road Middle School.
